Our Beliefs

What We Believe

Our faith is rooted in the truth of God’s Word and centered on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. These core beliefs shape our preaching, our worship, and our life together as a church.

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and trustworthy Word of God. It is our final authority for faith and life, revealing God’s truth and His plan of redemption through Jesus Christ.

God

We believe there is one true and living God who exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He is holy, sovereign, loving, just, all-powerful, and worthy of all worship and obedience.

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, and will return again in power and glory.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit convicts of sin, draws people to Christ, indwells every believer, and empowers Christians to live in obedience, grow in holiness, and serve God faithfully.

Humanity and Sin

We believe every person is created in the image of God and has great value and dignity. Because of sin, all people are separated from God and are in need of forgiveness, salvation, and new life through Jesus Christ.

Salvation

We believe salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ alone. It cannot be earned by works. Through repentance and faith, sinners are forgiven, made new, and given eternal life with God.

The Church

We believe the church is the body of Christ, made up of all true believers. The local church exists to worship God, proclaim the Gospel, make disciples, baptize believers, observe the Lord’s Supper, and serve one another in love.

Last Things

We believe Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly. There will be a final judgment, the resurrection of the dead, and the everlasting reality of heaven and hell. God will make all things new, and His people will be with Him forever.

These statements are a summary of our core beliefs and are intended to provide a clear overview of our doctrine. For a fuller explanation, our church teaching aligns with historic Baptist convictions and the doctrinal framework commonly expressed in the Southern Baptist tradition.
